How long does shipping take?
currently we have a turn around time of 2-6 days on all orders and depending on how large your order is it will ship via USPS or UPS- we provide tracking for all orders and are not responsible for any delays caused by the shipping carriers once it leaves our studio- but will assist if any claim needs to be made.
Where does my order ship from?
we create everything in our small studio space in the portland, ore., neighborhood of sellwood. each item is made in house in small batches.
Do you restock items?
unless its an exclusive collection or a one-of-a-kind product then everything is always in stock
where can I find your products locally?
we are so excited to be able to offer our products across the US and in Canada, check out our retailers page to find a shop near you- this gets updated weekly so check back if you don’t see a shop in your city yet.
do you offer wholesale or private labeling?
yes and yes! for wholesale you can fill out our inquiry to get more info including a line sheet and samples after that we will setup an account for you here on our website to order- or you can skip all that and order direct from us on faire. for custom orders please shoot us a message on our contact page.
Return and Exchanges
can i return my products?
yes and no- if the item was damaged in shipping we will certainly put in a claim with the carrier and send a replacement. all other reasons would have to be case by case, but please read item descriptions before placing your order- we are a small business and taking items back is hard on us, plus with the nature of our ingredients and covid we are limiting what we accept back into the studio. customer is responsible for return shipping, item must be unused and a store credit will be issued. to start the return process please submit a claim within 7 days of receiving your items.
can i change/cancel my order?
yes, but please let us know ASAP by sending us a message through our contact form within 2hrs of your purchase. once the package leaves our studio we can’t retrieve it and you will be responsible for any additional shipping charges if you want to place a return
Care and materials
what type of wax do you use?
we use a blend of soy and coconut creme. we find that the coconut holds a bit more scent than the soy alone, but coconut alone has a lower melt point making it more difficult for us to ship in warmer months. the mix of them together creates the perfect candle!
are your products phthalate free?
yes! in fact they are also vegan, free of parabens, carcinogenic toxins and are 100% cruelty free. we try to source our ingredients locally first before moving onto another domestic company and our packaging is recyclable.
sometimes black residue gets onto my candle jar, what is that?
nothing to be alarmed by, its soot caused by carbon burning from the wick and wax. keep your wicks trimmed and don’t allow them to mushroom up and this will help eliminate that- its a natural part of the candle burning process though and you can easily wipe the jar clean with a paper towel.
