bouquet recipe: muted desert tones
a few weeks back we collaborated on a styled shoot with sara byrne & elizabeth dye at the newly opened west portland- bar and event space. our inspiration for the day was a muted out desert vibe with pops of peach and faded greens. we can’t wait to share this shoot with you, but today we are sharing a breakdown of our floral ingredients for the bouquet.
the first floral we picked out for our recipe was the cafe latte rose and originally we had planned on that being our pop of color, but then added in a dash of golden yellow last minute and am so happy we did! we love the way the colors look against the palms we had been drying out for a few weeks and the bridge from the cafe latte to that combo rose was easy with the help of picotee, quicksands and mother of pearl- all toned down with hints of beige, blush and peach undertones that created the perfect color blend. we finished the look with some foraged bits and dried elements and love how it all turned out. check out the full breakdown here.
